Synthable ("we", "us", or "our") operates synthable.ai and related services (the "Service"). This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect, how we use it, and your rights with respect to it. By using the Service you agree to the practices described here.

1. Information We Collect

Information you give us

Account information — name and email address when you create an account or sign in via Google / email link.
Order information — shipping address, payment details (processed by Stripe — we never store raw card numbers), and the items you purchase.
Customization content — prompts you type and images you upload to generate your product designs.
Support messages — anything you send us through the Contact form.

Information collected automatically

Usage data — pages visited, features used, browser type, device type, and referring URL.
Log data — IP address, timestamps, and error information generated by your interactions with our servers.
Cookies & local storage — we use browser storage to keep you signed in and to preserve your cart. We also use cookies set by our advertising and analytics partners (Google, Meta, and TikTok) — see Section 8.

2. How We Use Your Information

Fulfil and ship your orders via our print-on-demand partner (Gelato).
Process payments securely through Stripe.
Send account-related emails (e.g. email verification, password reset) and respond to support requests.
Measure and improve the performance of our advertising, and build retargeting and lookalike audiences on the ad platforms described in Section 8.
Improve and debug the Service.
Comply with legal obligations.

We do not sell your personal information for money. As described in Section 8, we do share limited data with advertising partners for ad measurement and targeting — which some state privacy laws (e.g. California) classify as a "sale" or "share" of personal information; see Section 7 for how to opt out.

3. How We Share Your Information

We share your information only as necessary to operate the Service:

Print & fulfillment partner — your name, shipping address, and product specifications are shared with our production partner to manufacture and ship your order.
Payment processor — payment details are handled by our PCI-compliant payment processor. We never store raw card numbers.
Cloud infrastructure & authentication — we use third-party cloud services for hosting, file storage, and account authentication.
Transactional email — account-related emails and support replies are delivered via a third-party email service.
Customer support — support messages submitted through our Contact form are managed through a third-party helpdesk platform.
Advertising & analytics partners — Google (Tag Manager / Analytics), Meta, and TikTok receive page-view and purchase-funnel events (e.g. product viewed, added to cart, purchased), your IP address and browser user-agent, click identifiers from ad clicks (e.g. fbclid, ttclid), and a SHA-256 hashed version of your email/phone (never in plain text) so they can match events to an ad click, measure campaign performance, and build retargeting/lookalike audiences. See Section 8 for the cookies involved and your opt-out options.
Legal requirements — we may disclose information if required by law or to protect the rights and safety of Synthable or others.

4. Data Retention

We retain your account and order information for as long as your account is active and for a reasonable period afterward to comply with legal obligations and resolve disputes. Customization images uploaded for AI generation are stored temporarily and may be deleted after your order is fulfilled. You may request deletion of your account and associated data at any time (see Section 7).

5. Security

We use industry-standard measures to protect your information, including encrypted connections (HTTPS), access controls, and secure credential storage. No method of transmission over the internet is 100% secure. If you believe your account has been compromised, contact us immediately at support@synthable.ai.

6. Children's Privacy

The Service is not directed to children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe we have inadvertently collected such information, please contact us and we will delete it promptly.

7. Your Rights & Choices

Depending on where you live, you may have the right to:

Access the personal information we hold about you.
Correct inaccurate information.
Request deletion of your personal information.
Opt out of the sale/sharing of your personal information with advertising partners (see Section 8 for how).
Opt out of marketing emails (every marketing email includes an unsubscribe link).
Data portability — receive a copy of your data in a machine-readable format.

8. Cookies & Advertising Technologies

We use strictly necessary cookies and browser local storage to keep you signed in and to preserve your shopping cart between sessions.

We also use the following advertising and analytics technologies, which set their own cookies and receive the events and hashed/identifier data described in Section 3:

Google Tag Manager / Google Analytics (GA4) — site usage and purchase-funnel analytics.
Meta Pixel (cookies _fbp, _fbc) — ad measurement and retargeting on Facebook/Instagram.
TikTok Pixel (cookie _ttp) — ad measurement and retargeting on TikTok.

To opt out, you can: block or delete these cookies in your browser settings (this will also sign you out and clear your cart, since we use the same storage mechanisms for necessary features); use your browser's tracking-protection or ad-blocking features; or opt out directly through Meta's ad settings, TikTok's privacy controls, or Google's ad settings. You can also email support@synthable.ai and we will manually suppress your data from future ad-platform sends.

9. Third-Party Links

The Service may contain links to third-party websites. We are not responsible for the privacy practices of those sites and encourage you to review their policies.

10. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will post the revised policy on this page with an updated effective date. For material changes we will notify you by email or by a prominent notice on the Service. Continued use of the Service after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the revised policy.
